General Terms and Conditions
The information on this form is collected as part of the essential information the school holds about your child. This information will be used by the school for the following purposes: assessing your child’s application to determine whether or not your child will be offered a place, enrolling your child at school, assessing the educational needs of your child and meeting enrolment requirements for the Ministry of Education.
The records created with this information may be viewed on request at the school. You are entitled to request correction of the information and to be informed of any action taken in response to such a request and to have attached to the information a statement that you have requested a correction. The information collected may be disclosed to education and health sector agencies in accordance with the principles of the Privacy Act 1993. Except with your specific authorisation, it will not be disclosed to any other person or agency unless such disclosure is authorised or required by law.
In signing this enrolment form I agree to abide by the rules of the school as set down from time to time by the school, and expectations as set out in the Parent Information Book. I accept that the school reserves the right to revoke enrolment.
School Rules and Policies
I understand that the terms and conditions of this form are not exhaustive and that others are contained in published school Policy Documents, Rules, Notices, etc. I accept that the school reserves the right to add, amend, clarify or delete terms, conditions or policies by issuing Newsletters, Notices, or posting notification on one of the Schools Notice Boards.
I give permission for my child to be observed and evaluated and for my child’s first name to be used for documentation in the classroom, Planning, Student assignments and newsletters. This may include photos taken being used for promotional purposes such as the school Facebook page.
I give permission for my child to celebrate birthdays, Easter and Christmas.
I agree to notify Harbour Montessori College promptly regarding any absence and the reasons for the absence.
I agree to pay fees promptly and in advance.
We authorise the school to obtain any information about the applicant that may be necessary to achieve the purpose of educating the school’s pupils, and to disclose any information obtained during the course of the applicant’s education to the applicant’s parents.
I/We have read the above Terms and Conditions of the School and agree to abide by these conditions if we are offered and accept a place at Harbour Montessori College.
This is considered accepted within the application form by ticking the associated box.
